Houston Community College (HCC) wanted to establish a campus in the Sienna area of Missouri City, and Fort Bend County (FBC) wanted to build a library in the same general area. This branch was the first county library to be built in partnership with an educational institution. A two-story, 45,000-square-foot building, the library is the second-largest branch in the Fort Bend County library system.
